Dental advice you can actually follow
Most dental advice online is either an ad for a gadget or a wall of jargon. Bicuspids is the plain-English middle: what to do, what to buy, what to skip, and when to just call the dentist.
How we pick products
- We lean on guidance from dental organizations. For example, we point out when a product carries the American Dental Association (ADA) Seal of Acceptance, and we explain what that does and doesn't tell you.
- Each pick is labeled Research pick or Tested by us. We don't claim hands-on use we haven't done.
- Commission rates don't affect rankings. If a cheaper product is better, it goes first.
- We update guides when prices, formulas or recommendations change. The date at the top shows when.
What we won't do
No invented before-and-after photos, no "dentists hate this" claims, no miracle cures, and no pretending a gadget replaces brushing, cleaning between teeth and regular checkups.
Not a substitute for a dentist
Everything here is general information, not dental or medical advice. We can't diagnose anything. Pain, swelling, bleeding, loose teeth and mouth sores need a professional.
